For the record

If we’re going to say that Moffat was the first one to modernize Sherlock Holmes.

I BEG TO DIFFER.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sherlock_Holmes_in_the_22nd_Century

Watson was a ROBOT.

And Beth was the original Lestrade’s niece.

And Moriarty was a clone.

kalany inquired:"Because you're the nicest, sweetest person I've ever met, and I'm always terrified I'm going to upset you. It's like kicking Darren Criss in the face while he's making puppy eyes. You and Darren Criss are like soul siblings like that."

Me?

What?

Thank you!!! I don’t uh. Um. Well there are very few things I get upset about easily. And I rarely hold grudges. So. You know.

ahh.

Thanks everyone!

I’d respond individually but mobile so I can’t.

That’s really interesting (and flattering!!!!) to know!

tumblr i am glad that we can all agree that chris brown’s actions were inexcusable

now if you could start applying the same critical spirit to your favorite white dudes that would be great

Anonymous asked: You know what, people? My religion is not oppressing me. YOU ARE!

Oh my god, that is one of my biggest pet peeves. The First Amendment applies to GOVERNMENT action, people! Not to private citizens or entities - such as an artist and/or her blog.

Missing Logic

thefrogman:

I’ve been sitting here for the last few hours trying to decide what exactly I want to say. I love tumblr. It has changed my life and I couldn’t be more thankful to those who created it and those who maintain it.

But today I am disappointed. Hypocrisy was afoot and I didn’t like it. Tumblr has been very adamant in their objection to SOPA legislation. The entire reason that this censorship act has a chance of passing is because lobbyists and congressman used fear mongering and scare tactics. They warned those with little knowledge and a great deal of power that terrible things could happen if the internet is allowed to continue as it is. They put forth worst case scenarios and hypothetical situations that have little to no basis in reality in order to achieve their agenda.

YOU COULD LOSE DATA. I have not once lost data due to Missing e. Is there any evidence of this that can be provided? What kind of data was lost? A post or two? I’ve lost a queue full of 40 items before Missing e was even created.

YOU COULD LOSE PRIVACY. Every bit of the Missing e source code is published. You are free to analyze every single line of it. It does not request any of your private information.

PERFORMANCE DEGRADATION. I’m willing to bet that any data showing a loss in performance would be measured in seconds and maybe even milliseconds. However, the time I save using the productivity features included with Missing e would more than make up for any performance loss it may or may not cause.

SUPPORT. I agree this issue is a legitimate concern for tumblr. Inexperienced users who cannot tell when their issue is tumblr related or Missing e related, probably write into tumblr support asking for help. I do not think tumblr should have to take on the burden of sorting through these types of support questions. However, I do think that there is a better solution than scaring tumblr users into not using Missing e. I’m also willing to bet that their support team got many, many angry emails about this popup that appeared on our screens. If their objective was to get less Missing e related messages, I have a feeling it seriously backfired.

I have no desire to be at odds with the tumblr staff. But I also want to be supportive of my friend Jeremy. His only intention was to make our tumblr experience better and I think he has done an admirable job.

I’m willing to bet that a few hundred thousand people agreed to give up their support privileges. I am one of those people. I don’t think it was fair to ask that of me. I feel if tumblr had spent their time finding a way to work with the existence of Missing e instead of trying to destroy it, they would have solved any legitimate issues it has caused them.

I’ll end with this. If you go to the blogging section of the Chrome Webstore, Missing e is prominently featured above the fold.

It is not just one of the most popular tumblr extensions. It is one of the most popular extensions out of ALL extensions.

Currently showing 258,408 users, it is reviewed with 5 solid stars.

The Bible got 4½.

HQ Doctor Who Christmas Download? Please!

So

I’m looking through my dA gallery for the improvement meme thing (though haha anything over a month old needs improvement)

and thinking I should find all those people who commented on my horrible art and thank them.

Because I really really sucked.

And if they hadn’t encouraged me I would still be on that sucky level. (Instead of falling to it sometimes xD)

and yes. This is a pointless post.

But yes, thank you everyone who has ever before or now encouraged me and my art.

Except Ealdor is where Arthur started noticing Gwen as more than just ‘Morgana’s maid’ and started thinking of her as - maybe not quite a friend, but trusted council. It’s actually kind of poetic that Ealdor is where they reunite.
