Ok, so I think I figured out the problem. You know, the one about why the PJO fandom isn’t as close knit as it should be. Now listen, these are jut theories:

  1. We don’t have as much material to make graphics and such out of as other fandoms do. Yeah, we got a movie, but it’s a shitty movie. WHO WANTS TO MAKE GRAPHICS FROM A MOVIE THAT IS COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT TO OUR BELOVED BOOKS?! And that the actors don’t look like our beloved characters.
  2. Not enough fans are willing to make fun of it. Poking fun at yourself/what you love shows how much you adored it actually. (At least in my opinion.) Think of it this way, isn’t it hysterical when your best friend slips and falls on their ass? Making fun of you’re own fandom is the same thing! You know, like you’re the only one who can call your family lame.
